I was really concerned about how the progress of our palm tree removal was going. The once regal entryways are looking pretty slipshod, as are the median strips on Corso Venetia, so I requested a copy of the tree contract from Lighthouse Management. If we paid a lawyer to approve this contract, I think we should get a refund. And why are we paying Lighthouse Management over $100,000 per year to protect our interests? Take a look for yourselves. Be sure to read page two as well.

When reading page two of that so-called contract; I noticed it was faxed from a "Lakeside Studio." Who or what is "Lakeside Studio," and what involvement does it have with our Association. What ties does "Lakeside Studio" have to our Community and what is it doing for us and what are we doing for it? Why is an outside commercial interest like "Lakeside Studio" involved in our Community affairs without the knowledge of the Association members? Perhaps this involvement of "Lakeside Studio" needs to be referred to our Association attorney to determine if there is conflict of interest or a violation of our By Laws or Covenants. Also, we might want to look into the business license of "Lakeside Studio" to determine if that commercial entity or its owners are licensed to engage in property management if that is what it is doing in regards to our Association.
